During a baseball game between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres in Washington, DC, a gunshot happened outside the Nationals Park baseball stadium. On Saturday, four people were shot outside a baseball stadium in the United States capital that was packed with thousands of fans, forcing the game to be called off and supporters escorted out. Four individuals were shot, but there was “no ongoing danger,” according to police, who did not specify the status of the shooting victims. In footage of the game shared on social media, several bursts of automatic gunfire could be plainly heard in the stadium. As the audience at the game between the Washington Nationals and the San Diego Padres was asked to leave, the lights of several police cars lit up the roadway and sirens could be heard.
