Manchester: Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the National Governing body for tennis in Great Britain, has allowed doubles together as the United Kingdom government further eased lockdown.
According to details, the National Tennis Centre (NTC) is set to host the return of professional tennis competitions in June and July.
The decision has been taken following the further easing of restrictions in England from 1 June announced by the Prime Minister on Thursday evening (28 May) and the publication of detailed Government guidance on Sunday (31 May).
Players from different households can now play doubles together as long as they stay two metres apart as far as possible, and small group coaching for up to six people (including coaches) can resume.
It is pertinent to mention here that cricket activities have also resumed in England and West Indies is scheduled to tour the country for Test series in July.
